I'm the bloke in the hat, and by golly it's a tough job but someone's got to do it.

It's a depiction of official 'First Contact' with extraterrestrials. Don't be fooled - Because they can manipulate matter, ET can park his saucer however he wants, and that includes slamming it into the desert to create a fancy ceremonial corridor made out of spaceships!
